This Agreement governs access to and use of the website located at https://humanizeai.fun (the "Site") and any related services, software, or applications (collectively, the "Services") provided by Sequester AG, Baarerstrasse 10, 6300 Zug, Switzerland ("Sequester", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you (the "Customer", "you", or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
2.1 Sequester provides proprietary tools that (i) assess whether Content is likely generated by AI and (ii) generate and/or provide suggestions to humanize such Content ("Humanized Output"). Humanized Output may include an edited or rewritten version of the Content that seeks to minimise detectable AI markers. We may use third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to perform part of the analysis or generation.
2.2 The Services are provided as-is for informational purposes only. They do not guarantee undetectability, anonymity, plagiarism-free status, or compliance with any academic or legal standard.
3.1 You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this Agreement.
3.2 If you create an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your credentials.
3.3 You may create or access an account either (a) by providing an email address or (b) by using the "Sign in with Google" single-sign-on (SSO) service. If you choose Google SSO, you authorise Sequester to receive your name, email address, and other information permitted under Google's privacy policy and OAuth consent screen.
4.1 Fees for paid Services are displayed on the Site at the time of purchase. All sales are final and non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
4.2 Prices are exclusive of value added tax (VAT) or other applicable taxes, which will be added where legally required. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase.
4.3 All fees are due in advance and must be paid in Swiss francs (CHF) unless we explicitly state otherwise. You are responsible for any currency–conversion costs, bank fees, or other charges incurred in making payment.
You agree to:
6.1 Ownership. Sequester and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, underlying software, and all Results. Nothing herein transfers any intellectual-property rights to you except as explicitly stated.
6.2 Licence to Results. Subject to your ongoing compliance with this Agreement and applicable law, Sequester grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable licence to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the Results for any purpose.
6.5 Reverse Engineering & Distillation Penalties. Any attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, distill, translate, mine, probe, scrape, or otherwise derive or extract the source code, architecture, parameters, or training data of the Services constitutes a material breach subject to liquidated damages of CHF 50,000 or five times the fees paid, whichever is greater.
7.1 Data Categories. We collect and process (i) the Content, (ii) account identifiers (e-mail address, display name or Google OAuth identifier), (iii) technical & usage data (IP address, pages visited, click events, browser user-agent, session duration, cookies), and (iv) payment identifiers.
7.2 Purposes of Processing. We process data to (a) provide and improve the Services, (b) prevent fraud and misuse, (c) comply with legal obligations, and (d) market our Services.
7.4 Third-Party Transfers. We may transfer data to third-party processors—such as hosting providers, analytics providers (e.g., PostHog), and AI-model APIs—located worldwide. All transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
7.5 Data Subject Rights. You may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability by emailing privacy@humanizeai.fun.
Each party will (i) protect the other party's Confidential Information using the same degree of care it uses to protect its own, but no less than reasonable care, and (ii) use Confidential Information only to perform its obligations or exercise its rights under this Agreement.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SEQUESTER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL DETECT ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT, FULLY HUMANISE ALL CONTENT, RENDER CONTENT UNDETECTABLE, OR BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
Academic & Professional Consequences. SEQUESTER DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY ACADEMIC, EDUCATIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, OR EMPLOYMENT CONSEQUENCES THAT MAY ARISE FROM USE OF THE SERVICES OR RELIANCE ON THE RESULTS.
10.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEQUESTER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.
10.2 SEQUESTER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED CHF 0.01.
10.5 Shortened Limitation Period. ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION MUST BE FILED WITHIN SIX (6) MONTHS AFTER SUCH CLAIM AROSE OR IS FOREVER BARRED.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sequester, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to (a) the Content, (b) your use of the Services in violation of this Agreement or any law, or (c) your infringement of any third-party right.
Sequester aims for continuous availability of the Services but does not guarantee uptime. Basic e-mail support is available at support@humanizeai.fun.
14.1 This Agreement is governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland.
14.2 Binding, Exclusive Arbitration. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively and finally by arbitration in accordance with the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration. The seat of arbitration shall be Zug, Switzerland.
14.4 Notice & Filing Requirements. BEFORE INITIATING ARBITRATION YOU MUST SEND SEQUESTER A WRITTEN "NOTICE OF DISPUTE" by registered mail to Sequester AG, Baarerstrasse 10, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, with a copy to legal@humanizeai.fun.
